Black Desert House was conceived in 2008 in a collaboration between Los Angeles-based Oller & Pejic Architects and their client, the noted multi-dimensional designer Marc Atlan, also based in Los Angeles.

Realized in 2012, the result was a “shadow on the landscape” — a luxurious jewel box with an emphasis on black that focuses attention on the one-of-a-kind location and stunning desert views.

Black Desert House quickly became an architectural icon in the High Desert, made available to a limited number of guests for the first time in 2020.
